These 3 days of intensive training will improve your skills in:

• Assessment of risks and situations
• Boat handling under power
• Crew guidance

You practice maneouvers under power lots of times to get routine in guiding the boat and the crew for berthing and casting off!

The program:

• At the morning briefing we explain the daily program, discuss about probable difficulties and try to find answers together.

The wachleaders aim should be to imagine the maneouver and express it to the crew (assign the tasks and contol the conversion, there is no need to shout). A "plan B" should be available.

• Maneouvering in free waters and by using the prop walk.

• We train at diverse places:

• Coming alongside in best conditions
• Coming alongside in offshore wind conditions
• Coming alongside in onshore wind conditions
• Berthing with anchor and stern lines
• Berthing with mooring lines and stern lines
• Casting off with mooring lines and stern lines in side wind conditions

Dates 2011 (Wednesday to Friday):

• M A) 17^th-18^th of march, combined with boat handling sail 12^th-15^th of march
• M B) 30 of march-1^st of april, comdined with boat handling sail 26^th-29^th of march
• M C) 12^th-14^th of october, combined with boat handling sail 08^th-11^th of october

Dates 2012, (Wednesday to Friday):

• M A) 14^th-16^th of march, combined with boat handling sail 10^th-13^th of march
• M B) 21^st-24^th of march, combined with boat handling sail 17^th-20^th of march
• M C) 10^th-12^th of october, combined with boat handling sail 6^th-9^th of october

Your bunk is provided the night before!

These low season dates allow us to enjoy Croatia undisturbed Empty ports and bays give space for maneouvering and training. The islands of Dalmatia are nearly ours.

Price: From the base all inclusive € 420,-
The price includes: Your bunk, the training, fuel, mooring fees, food basics, guarded parking lot.

That means except your journey (we gladly organise carpools) and personal charges you won't pay anything extra!
